George Jones Kollock manuscript, 1800s.

This collection contains a manuscript on Georgia that was apparently written as a contribution to a book or sketch on Georgia, or it may have been for corrections or addenda to a published work, as some notes refer to page numbers. Authorship is attributed to George Jones Kollock as his name is written several times at the end of one section, and the handwriting resembles his. There is more than one draft for some sections, with some differences. Some drafts are incomplete. The sections are divided by topics: Georgia, situation and extent; constitution and government; statistics from the 1810 census; soil, productions, etc.; the city of Savannah; Rivers; American Revolution in Georgia.
